Yahoo… Final Exam Ended!!!
October 7, 2005 by kahhwee
So how was my final exam??? Hmm… I wonder if i can meet my target… During ‘parent meet tutor day’ (July - after common test), my tutor asked me to set my target, and… erhem… i said "3 As and 1 C" for the 4 core subjects (Econ - C), and C for General Paper… now… what do i think? erm…
27 Sept - General Paper (GP)
Essay part’s still ok, but the comprehension was terrible… i realize it’s how important for me to brush up my paraphrasing skill! Even if i know what the answers are, i just cant express them without lifting the words from the passage! Haiz…
4 Oct - Computing
Among these subjects, computing can be said as the easiest (i never say it’s easy, i just said it’s easier than the rest…), i think there’s possibility to get a low A lor… GOD bless me!!! (i m not christian, though :P)
5 Oct - Physics, Economics
Physics… i lacked practice… my concepts and skills were not very stable… even though some questions are similar to what i had done before, i just could’t recall the proper way to solve the problems… i’d left some answers blank since i skipped whatever questions that i m not familiar with… after that, i calculated the marks that must be gone, it’s about 20! Well, i barely have chance to get A already~ however, i was very lucky in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). I had skipped 6-7 questions in it, and at last, i just answered ‘C’ for every skipped question. Wow~ i couldn’t believe my luck, out of them i got 5 correct… i’d never been that lucky (although it’s only 5-6 marks there…:} ). Indeed, i find it quite creepy (in cantonese: ‘好邪!’)… anyhow i would most probably get ‘C gua, but i hope a B…
And how about economics…? Hmm… our tutor had been industriously discussing about some topics during tutorial and through Moodle forum, as well as posting all sorts of articles in Moodle, therefore we can roughly guess out what would be tested in essay, and it’s quite accurate. Despite all the effort i’d put, i still cannot finish the essay in time! Haiz… there should be something to do with my writing and thinking speed… Anyway, there is still possibility to pass (MCQ did help).
7 Oct - Maths
Hmm… low A? Hopefully… It’s ok because there are very sufficient time for us to finish it. haiz… i overlooked a part of a question, just as what Jun Hui and Tze Leong did, but Tze Leong saw it during last few minutes and was able to finish it. Nevermind, it’s most probably 2 or 3 marks only…
So, your conclusion? I not really can meet my target right? I also think so… nevermind lah, i should have stopped thinking these. Instead, i should think about how i HAVE FUN yesterday… It’s the most lovely day amongst the days in Singapore! I was damn releaved after all.

Before the exam, we had been discussing and planning activities after exam - watching ‘the myth’ after maths paper. My classmates also planed an outing to kbox in the afternoon. Too bad… i can only choose one… despite higher cost, i’m still inclined to go kbox, for i’d never been to kbox before… and i think i can really release my stress by singing and reveling there. And I joint those after watching movie for dinner and Se Lau’s (色佬? no la… :D) birthday celebration. Some friends invited me to East Coast Park with them today too. But i think i better not to go (although i wish to go for i’ve also never been there), i need rest…
Yesterday was really a memorable day for me, i really want to emphasize this… and i’d been wearing the school uniform for more than 15 hours!!! How yucky…
My 1st time in KaraokeBOX!!! - 1pm-6.45pm (it’s 5 hours 45 mins!)
Haha, i still remember when i first told my parents that i’ll be going Kbox, they kept reminding me to be careful (especially about my drink and food) and this and that. That’s a bit much lah haha…
After maths test, we had lunch in MacDonald, and then proceeded to the Kbox in Clementi… it’s around 10-11 bucks per person, and 7 of us took two rooms, there’re 2 mikes in each room. The rooms are actually quite small… not long after that, our emotion started running high, we’re standing on the sofa, singing, shaking, dancing, screaming there… went into a crazy mood! Haha, after some hours, we’re getting tired and started singing slow songs, and then went into high mood again… Sad to say, i realized that i m not really good in singing as i heard my yucky voice out of the sound system which is easily out of tune… but, who cares? That’s just it - as long as i sing out all my stress (maybe my friends were suffering?
hehe paise). It’s really a good way to release stress… Another thing i want to say is that i was so impressed by my friend’s - Xianan’s singing, with the warm and harmonious and flexible voice! She, with her partner, has got into the final of music award thingy in my school and will be competing with another team next tuesday. I highly recommend her to participate some higher-level musical competition (e.g. Singapore Idol?). Then our JC will have another great celeb after JJ and Stefanie… (ng… am i thinking too much? *.*)
Slacking in Suntec City… (7.25pm-10++pm)
We packed some food for dinner and proceeded to roadside benches beside the fountain of wealth, having dinner and then slacking there… of course, we celebrated Lau’s birthday, with dedication through the fountain of wealth. We were talking, playing cards, taking photos (anyhow slacking) there… Oh ya, we did wash our hands with the fountain water… someone har~ started splashing the water around, triggering off H2O war… i was still wearing school uniform leh! aiz… let him lah… his birthday wow… Oh, there’s also magic show by a junior magician (self declared), Wei Seng. I admit that i was tricked… and until now i dont really get how it’s done.

Although it would be more relax after final test, there’s still Project Work (PW) - Insight & Reflection (I&R), Written Report (WR) and Oral Presentation (OP)… I think i should keep on improving my I&R this weekend, and for WR, i have to do statistics for the survey, which had been delayed for quite a long time (i m so sorry for my PW group members…). However i will definely increase my leisure pursuits such as watching TV, playing computing games, reading manga, fictions… haha… Enjoy~
