The days after chinese new year

Had econ essay test last week (2 days after i came back from m’sia). It’s actually not tough since the questions were expected. But anyway i don’t think i can score very highly because i didn’t practise writting but only looked through the text book.
Just had math test yesterday. I was quite blank and nervous as i wasn’t well prepared. Aiz, asked for it… i just started revising the night before the test.
Went to NTU for math olympiad just now. Just for fun la, to get some experience lo. What in the world are the questions asking…? I think they’re not meant for us (i mean non-furthermath students).
Physics test next thursday… haven’t started revising yet… maybe after this la…
Going to NUS for National Olympiad of Informatics (NOI) [http://www.comp.nus.edu.sg/~noi/] pre-screening next saturday. The competition is on 11/3/06. I have tried some of the past year questions and i just managed to accomplish 1/5 of the tasks. Nevermind, i will ‘add more oil’ on it. I still have 1 month to prepare myself. Frankly i expected quite much of myself. I hope (or rather aim) to get at least silver for that.
We have had the first session with the Saint Andrew Junior School boys last wednesday. The first session was just an orientation. We just had much fun there. No teaching. I am leader of class 1, which is also the weakest class in the primary 6. However everything was far better than my expectation. The boys are not bad (in fact they are cute) after all. There are only 7 mentees in my class, 1 chinese, 2 malay, 2 indian and 2 sikh. Talking about subject committee, i’m in malay committee. Aiz… i dont think i can even speak fluent malay now… but i have no choice - only Guna and i know malay. I guess i need to brush up a bit on my malay before next session (next wednesday!) because we are going to start the teaching session.
Next tuesday is friendship+valentine’s day. Everyone in my class is to buy something for aother classmate of the oppossite-sex, who is randomly selected by drawing lots. Who did i get? Hmm… Cannot reveal now… Because we are not supposed to let people know about this until friendship/valentine’s day. I went to shop for the gift yesterday. What did i buy? Tell you later k.
And, tomorrow is Chap Goh Mei, the 15th which also the last day of chinese new year… Later i’ll be going to chinatown with some friends for a walk… hope that it’ll be fun. OK, it’s time to stop now and start mugging on physics already…
